China National Building Material Group Corporation(CNBM), a state-owned company in charge of administrative affairs in building material industry, is to install cement equipment for Vietnam Nghi Son Cement Company, in a deal worth USD 113 million in equipment and US$27m in installation.  
 
Vietnam Nghi Son Cement Plant, located in Hai Thuong, Tinh Gia County, Thanh Hoa Provice, is a joint venture of Vietnam National Cement Corporation, Japanese Taiheyo Cement Corporation, the world’s sixth largest cement groups, and Mitsubishi. With an investment of US$240m, the plant has annual output of cement clinker of 2.15Mt.  
 
This project was started on April 23 and will be finished in two years and four months. When it is completed, its annul output of cement will reach 5Mt, meeting Vietnam’s growing demand for cement clinker.
