The total value of Barah Cement Factory sales exceeded YR 10.131 billion in 2006. This is the first time the factory’s sales exceeded the 10 billion rial mark, according to Dr. Ahmed Saeed al-Malsaai, general manager of Al-Barah Cement Factory. Sales in 2005 had reached a respectable YR 8.4 billion, he said.

“Al-Barah Cement Factory has achieved great successes in various fields of business, in continuation of the successes achieved in the previous two years. In terms of cement production, the factory has implemented its plan to increase output to 116 percent, amounting to 579,518 tons of cement,” said al-Malsaai.
