China’s Sinoma signs deals worth CNY987.71m with Taiwan Cement

China’s Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd said it signed a series of deals to build cement facilities and dock projects for Taiwan Cement Corp recently, with the contracts valued at CNY987.71m.  
 
In a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company said under the agreements, it will build two cement production lines in Guigang, in the southern region of Guangxi.  
 
The company said it will also construct two dock projects - the Baisha dock and the Xianyitan dock - in the same province.  
 
It said construction on the production lines, each with a daily capacity of 6000t, will be completed in 16-17 months.  
 
The Baisha and Xianyitan dock projects will be completed in 16 months and eight months, respectively.  
 
In 2006, Sinoma signed an agreement with Taiwan Cement to build two cement production lines in Yingde, in Guangdong province, for a total of CNY908m.
