Cimpor to invest EUR100m in Turkey 2007
Cimpor says it is to invest EUR100m to build a new cement unit in Turkey in 2007.
The new unit is expected to start production in 2009. Cimpor’s objective is to boost its production capacity in Turkey by 1Mta. At present, Cimpor’s annual cement output stands at 3.5Mt in the country, where it runs three units.
Cimpor also plans to increase its overall capacity to 40Mt in 2011, from the estimated 28Mt for 2007. Published under Cement News
