Two producers sign agreement with Bolivian Govt

Bolivian cement manufacturers Fancesa and Soboce signed an agreemeent for the provision of cement and its products for BOB 32. The new price of the 50kg that will be valid for one year, was decreased from BOB 43 and will be only for the construction of houses that are part of the plant promoted by the Bolivian government.

Also, the government has signed an agreement with Instituto Boliviano del Cemento y el Hormigon (IBCH) for the technical advice to the development of construction manuals, technical specifications, new technologies. The housing program comprises four subprograms and has a budget of US$90.4m, US$60m for the construction of 14,000 houses and the remaining for repair and reconstruction.
