Contract to KHD Germany for a 5000tpd clinker production line in Egypt

Under a contract with Per-Tech for Industrial Equipment & Supplies FZE, United  Arab  Emirates, as General Contractor for a new cement plant with an annual capacity of 1.5Mt OPC in Egypt, KHD Humboldt Wedag will supply the process equipment for the clinker production line with 5000tpd capacity.

The customer is South Valley Cement Company, Egypt. The new plant will be installed in the Bani-Sweif industrial area, 120km south of Cairo.

The contract covers design and supply of process equipment and supervision services for erection and commissioning.

Establishing a co-operation in the Gulf Region

South Valley Cement plant project should be the first co-operation between TIG, Jordan (Per-Tech is wholly-owned subsidiary of TIG) and KHD Humboldt Wedag in the construction of cement plants in the Gulf Region.

With their non-exclusive co-operation agreement both partners will strengthen their competitive position in this market segment – TIG as   General Contractor for complete cement plants and KHD as supplier of state-of-the-art technology.
