The customer is South Valley Cement Company, Egypt. The new plant will be installed in the Bani-Sweif industrial area, 120km south of Cairo.
The contract covers design and supply of process equipment and supervision services for erection and commissioning.
Establishing a co-operation in the Gulf Region
South Valley Cement plant project should be the first co-operation between TIG, Jordan (Per-Tech is wholly-owned subsidiary of TIG) and KHD Humboldt Wedag in the construction of cement plants in the Gulf Region.
With their non-exclusive co-operation agreement both partners will strengthen their competitive position in this market segment – TIG as General Contractor for complete cement plants and KHD as supplier of state-of-the-art technology.
