Cement production numbers please sector
Cement production during the January through November period of 2006 amounted to 43.6Mt, according to Turkish Cement Manufacturers’ Association data.
The exported cement in the same period was 5.2Mt. Production increased by 4.1Mt, while exports decreased by 1.8Mt compared to the same period the previous year. Cement production for the first 11 months in 2005 was 39.5Mt, while exports were 7Mt. Production increased by 10.3 percent and exports decreased by 26 per cent. The major share of production was carried out in the Marmara region. Total production for all of 2006 is expected to have exceeded 45Mt. Published under Cement News
