He was talking to media after holding an important meeting with the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association in Islamabad.
Jehangir Khan Tareen said that the meeting was successful as the Government cleared on the manufacturers that any increase in price of cement cannot be accepted.
The Association assured the Minister to bring down the price of cement to Rs.260 per bag and in this connection, they will publicize the ex-factory price.
The chairman of the Association, Aizaz Shaikh said on the occasion that the news of increase in cement prices is wrong. He said that from the next week, cement would be provided to public at the price fixed by the Government.
