New orders for Koeppern
India Cements Limited operates a dry process plant at Chilamkur. As a part of its expansion program, India Cements was considered enhancing its raw meal grinding capacity. Koeppern together with LNV Technology Pvt (LNVT) presented various options for enhancing the capacity and finally Roll Press in finish grinding mode was chosen by the client. The capacity of the circuit is 100tph at 15 per cent residue on 90µm.
Size of Roll press: 630-15-1000, Pinst = 2 x 750kW
LV Classifier: RM-55-30
The complete system was based on Bond Work Index of 13.5kWh/t, one of the hardest in the Indian cement industry.
With the technical support from Koeppern, Germany the complete engineering is handled by LNV Technology Pvt. Ltd, Chennai, India. The project is in advance stage of manufacturing and is expected to be commissioned by the third quarter of 2007.
Murli Agro
Murli Agro Products Limited is an agro-based company which is diversifying into cement industry. Murli Agro Products Limited is setting up a 2Mta cement plant in Maharashtra. LNVT/Koeppern jointly secured the order for a 400tph cement grinding circuit. The system includes a single roll press catering two identical ball mill circuits. The system has ability to operate at 250tph when single mill is operated. The system is designed to operate for both OPC and PPC. The roll press and ball mill circuit will be equipped with common LV Classifier.
Roll press of size: 630-15-1300, Pinst = 2 x 1100 kW
LV Classifier : RM-117-52
Ball mill: 4.6 m dia x 14 m long, Pinst = 2 x 2300 kW
The complete system has been sized based on grindability of 28.0 kWh/mt.
The complete engineering is being carried out in LNV Technology Pvt. Ltd, Chennai, India with full support from Koeppern. The project is in advance stage of manufacturing and is expected to be commissioned by first quarter of 2008. Published under Cement News
