President Saleh inspects cement factory project, Yemen
President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid a visit to Arab Company’s cement project in the Howeirah area.
The president get informed about the ongoing work to carry out the project.
The productive capacity is expected to reach to million ton a year in the first phase. The project, which costs US$260m, will start production next year.
This visit of the president came in the framework his encouragement to such investments in a number of governorate. He directed concerned authorities on motivating investors to accomplish the projects announces about, whether cements or others, stressing on the importance of carrying out such projects for they assimilate huge number of working hands.
