Adana Cimento plans investments for 2007
Turkish cement producer Adana Cimento will allocate 46.455 mln Turkish lira (US$32.6m) for investments in 2007, the company said on December 26, 2006.
The company’s cement output for 2007 is expected to reach 2.608Mt and production of grey and white clinker is seen at 2.108Mt and 86,650 tonnes, respectively.
Adana Cimento targets to sell 2.6Mt of cement and 250,000 tonnes of clinker next year.
The company’s sales for the first nine months of 2006 rose by an annual 8.6 pct to 189.4 mln lira ($133 mln/101.1 mln euro) boosting net profit by 53.3 pct to 104.875 mln lira ($73.6 mln/56 mln euro).
