According to the Environmental Impact Assessment Center of Sichuan Province, the province’s accelerated cement industry structure adjustment has already recorded good results.

Since the beginning of 2006, seven new types of dry-processed cement clinker production lines in Sichuan Province have passed the environmental protection inspection and have obtained approval.

Following operation of the said projects, the newly added dry-processed cement production capacity may exceed 8mt/y and can reduce the powder dust emission by 70%, thus markedly improving the environmental conditions.
