Cemex faces a fresh hurdle in its hostile $16 billion bid for Australian building products group Rinker. 
 
Rinker has received a request for more information from the anti-trust division of the U.S. Department of Justice, which is reviewing the potential acquisition as both companies compete in the U.S. and do business together there.
