Domestic consumption of cement last month, at 2.25Mt, was 15 per cent lower than the 2.65Mt used a year before, with consumption in the provinces of Jakarta and Banten leading the fall, a report by the Indonesian Cement Association shows.  
 
The report said cement consumption in Jakarta last month had fallen by 35 per cent YoY to 187,186t and that consumption in Banten had dropped by 45 per cent to 99,163t.  
 
It said that in the first 10 months of this year, domestic cement consumption had declined by 3.4 per cent YoY to 25.85Mt.
