Cyrille Ragoucy, CEO of Lafarge Shui On Cement, recently announced that from now until 2010, China’s cement consumption volume will increase by 30%.

However, due to intense competition, approximately 40% of the 5,000 Chinese cement companies will incur losses.

Lafarge Shui On plans to double its production capacity and reach 40Mt in the next few years.
