Cimpor is in the process of studying participation in projects for the production of wind energy in Morocco and Tunisia, Cimpor director, Sequeira Martins said. 

In Morocco, Cimpor plans to develop a wind park with an installed capacity of 10MW. It will serve to provide Cimpor’s unit there with cheaper electricity. The Government, in turn, plans to launch a project for a 50MW wind park, and according to Martins, Cimpor might participate in it with other industries from the country.
