Having abandoned a plan to construct a cement plant in the Sverdlovsk region, Ural Mining & Metallurgical Company is going to implement the project in the Orenburg region.

According to preliminary data, the plant’s capacities will total around 1.3Mta of cement. Lime for construction products will be mined at Orenburg deposits - Letneye and Osenneye, and processed at Gai GOK.

Nearly all product of the new plant will be sold in Yekaterinburg, Kommersant-Ural said.
