Cement companies have raised prices by 5 rupees per 50kg bag in western states of Maharashtra and Gujarat from Nov. 1, an industry source said.  
 
The price range for cement after the increase would range from INR222-230/bag, a source from Cement Stockists & Dealers Association of Mumbai said.
