Uzbekistan plans to build three new cement plants

UzStroyMateriali (Uzbek Construction Materials) association plans to build three large plants for the  production of Portland cement.

Pravda Vostoka reported that the plants will be located at Karakalpakstan, Surkgandarya region and Jizzakh region.

Total capacity of these plants will be 2.5Mt of Portland cement per year. According to preliminary estimates, the cost of these three plants equals to US$w50m.
