Portuguese cement group Cimpor said it had agreed to take a 60-per cent stake in Shandong Liuyuan New Type Cement from the Chinese manufacturer’s parent company, which will retain the remaining 40 per cent. 
 
Cimpor said its Cimpor Chengtong cement Corp unit would pay EUR2.1m for the stake in Liuyuan New Type, which is based in Zaozhuang in the province of Shangdong.
