"The volume of cement production will likely be similar to that of 2005. But the profit might increase by up to 10 or 20 per cent until the end of this year," he said.
According to the available data, the cement company recorded a profit amounting Rp663.43bn (US$72m) in the first quarter of 2006, compared to Rp1 trillion for the whole of 2005.
Gresik forecasts that net profit will increase by up to 20 per cent this year
