In order to answer to the need of Cemex to increase the capacity of its facilities in Panama, FCB Ciment was awarded end of July 2006 by Cementos Bayano a contract for the engineering, procurement, mechanical erection supervision, commissioning, start-up and training for a new cement grinding plant.
 
The grinding plant will be equipped with an Horomill® 3800 and a TSV™ 4500 HF, and designed to produce 135 tph of cement GU with 4100 Blaine and 95 tph of cement granel with 3400 Blaine.
Starting of the grinding plant is expected for end of 2007.

The new mill of Cementos Bayano is the 1st Horomill® ordered by Cemex, and brings the list of references of this machine to 39.
