Holcim Romania, a unit of  Holcim Ltd, said it will invest some EUR4m in 2007, in upgrading and improving the output of the factory in Turda, northern Romania, the company said in a press statement.

Holcim has three cement factories in Romania, 15 ecological concrete units and four aggregate units. The group’s overall investments in Romania were EUR334m in 2005. Holcim Romania forecasts a turnover of EUR190m in 2006, up 19% compared with EUR166m a year ago.
