India’s Chettinad Cement Corp Ltd announced that its board has approved the setting up of a new cement plant with an annual capacity of 2Mt at Ariyalur in India’s southern state of Tamil Nadu. 

No other details were provided in the statement issued by the company to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
