Kawasaki Heavy Industry new order, Vietnam
Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. said that one of its subsidiaries has received a 12bn yen order for a cement plant from a company affiliated with the Vietnamese government.
The subsidiary, Kawasaki Plant Systems Ltd, based in Kobe, will build a plant with a daily cement production capacity of 4,000t in northern Vietnam’s Ha Nam Province. The new plant will be an addition to existing facilities and will double total production capacity once it is completed in June 2009.
The order came from But Son Cement Joint Stock Company, an affiliate of Vietnam’s Construction Ministry.
