Taiwan Cement shipments grow 10%
Taiwan Cement Corp’s shipments in August grew by around 10 per cent month on month. Among the shipment, domestic sales reached 410,000t, increasing by 14% month on month and overseas shipment reached 540,000t, growing by eight per cent on monthly basis. As the fourth quarter is traditionally peak season, Taiwan Cement predicted the pre-tax profits of it would reach NT$6bn this year.
