Siberian Cement to build plant in Yashkino

At a session of the Kemerovo region’s administration, president of Siberian Cement Andrey Muravyev has stated the holding started implementing a program for development estimated for 2006–2010. It presumes a boost of cement output by over two times to 9Mt.

Besides already announced construction of the plant in Krasnoayrsk by capacity of 1.2Mta of cement, Siberian cement intends to launch a new enterprise in settlement Yashkino (Kemerovo region) where crude base is kept of a cement plant bankrupted a few years ago. Siberian Cement owns Yaskinskiy Karier, which can develop limestone field. The new plant’s planned capacity is 1Mta of cement.
