The quantity of Peruvian cement sales stood at 388,013t in July 2006, according to data of the Peruvian association of cement producers Asocem, as reported on August 16, 2006. Peruvian cement exports stood at 98,746t for the month. 
 
Peruvian cement sales rose to 2.75Mt in the period from January to July 2006, up 14.5 per cent year-on-year. Peruvian cement exports rose to 502,379t in the period, up 23 per cent.
