During the most recent quarter, dalmia Cement has witnessed a 369.03 per cent rise in profits from Rs107.20m to Rs502.80m. Sales for the quarter rose 55.37 per cent to Rs2077m compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago. Total income climbed 82.17 per cent to Rs.2537.3m, with other income rising 725.67 per cent to Rs459.9m compared with the quarter, a year ago.

The company has expanded its cement capacity from 1.5Mt to 3.5Mt following the successful commissioning of brown field expansion at Dalmiapuram. The company said that with this expansion it could double its turnover to Rs12 billion in the current fiscal.
