Qatar National Cement profits down
Qatar National Cement Company (QNCC ) registered a net profit of 88.09 mln Qatari rials (US$24.2m) for the first half of 2006, down from 90.64 mln rials (US$24.9m) in the corresponding period of 2005, it was reported on July 30, 2006. According to the company’s first-half financial statement, earnings per share (EPS) decreased to 3.08 rials ($0.8) from 3.17 rials ($0.9) in the year-ago period. Published under Cement News
