Eurocement Group Ukraine intends to construct a fifth line at its Baltsem works (Balakliia, Kharkiv region) and build a fourth line at the Pushka cement works (Kramatorsk, Donetsk region) by 2008, announced Mikhail Skorokhod, Eurocement Group’s president.

Reconstruction of the line at Baltsem  will increase the plant’s production capacity by 1Mta of cement. The new Pushka cement line will increase the plant’s cement capacity from 650,000tpa to 1Mta.  "...Thus, these two plants will be ready to provide the market with about 1.4Mt of additional cement," Mr Skorokhod said.
