Work starts on US$210m cement plant, Vietnam

Construction of a US$210m cement plant began in Tinh Gia district of central Thanh Hoa province on July 4. The plant, invested by the Cong Thanh Cement Joint Stock Company, has a designed capacity of 2,500tpd of clinker in the first phase. Its capacity will be raised to 7,500tpd of clinker  (2.8Mta) in the second phase. This is the third cement plant to be built in the Thanh Hoa province. The plant is scheduled to be put into operation in 15 months, creating jobs for around 1,000 local workers.  Published under Cement News
