KHD Humboldt Wedag GmbH, Cologne, Germany was awarded the contract for revamping the kiln line at Cementir´s cement production plant Arquata with the installation of a new PYROFLOOR® clinker cooler as highlight. Under a contract with Redecam Group S.p.A., as General Contractor, KHD Humboldt Wedag will supply engineering and equipment for the revamping of the kiln line at Arquata cement plant with a capacity of 1200tpd clinker.

Meanwhile, KHD has received the order for design and supply of key machinery and equipment for three clinker grinding systems with a capacity of 280tph cement each.

Under a contract with Sinoma International Engineering Ltd., China, as General Contractor for two new 10,000tpd cement production plants in Saudi Arabia, KHD Humboldt Wedag will supply the clinker grinding plant consisting of three identical semi-finish grinding systems with Roller Press and ball mill with a capacity of 3 x 280tph cement with a fineness of 3,300cm²/g acc. to Blaine. The customer is Saudi Cement Company, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the new lines will be installed at Hofuf cement plant 120km south of Dammam in Saudi Arabia. The contract covers design, supply of equipment and supervision services for erection and commissioning.
