Gujarat Sidhee Cement  earned  a profit of Rs. 34.03 million compared with a loss of Rs. 86.39 million in corresponding quarter of 2004-05. Sales for the quarter rose 31.34 per cent to Rs. 889.97 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago. 

Operating margins improved to 6.82 per cent during the quarter, a rise of 453.28 basis points compared with the corresponding quarter.  Net Margins, on the other hand, rose from -12.47 per cent to 3.72 per cent during the quarter.
