Romanian cement producer Lafarge Romcim, a unit of French building materials group Lafarge, expects its turnover to reach Euro 190m in 2006, the company said on May 18, 2006.  The Romanian cement market might even reach a total of Euro 570m in 2006.  Lafarge Romcim runs cement plants in Medgidia, Hoghiz and Targu Jiu. 
 
Lafarge also expects a 10 per cent to 12 per cent annual growth in 2006 for all its operations in Romania as all sectors of the domestic construction market are seen to grow during the year, Lafarge Romcim’s CEO, Philippe Questiaux, said.
