In April 2006, the Pivdentsement company (Olshanske, Mykolaiv region) increased cement production by 20.5% or 14,300 tons compared with April 2005, to 83,900t. Clinker production rose by 4.5% or 1,900t, compared to April 2005.  
 
A month earlier, Pivdentsement increased cement production by 44.4% or 12,400 tons compared with March 2005, to 40,300 tons.
