The 51 per cent government-owned Oman Cement Company (OCC) yesterday reported a 16 per cent jump in its net profit at RO4.943m for the first quarter of 2006. Sales rose to RO11.126m in Q1 2006 compared with RO10.929m in Q1 2005. The company had posted more than 39 per cent jump in net profit for the 12-month period December 31, 2005 at RO18.224m.
