Private sector is to establish a cement factory in Garmsar of Semnan Province, that would be the biggest one across the country, Hossein Sobhani, an official in the province’s governor-generalship told IRNA on Monday. Planned to be constructed at the investment of worth Rls5000 billion, the factory would produce 7Mta cement once it was commissioned, deputy for planning affairs added.

According to the investors, the project would be completed within seven stages, he noted. The first phase of the factory would come on stream two and a half years after opening LC, followed by the next phases to become operational every six months, he added.
