Ceprocim SA of Romania has been selected by Holcim for the engineering and equipment supply of a new single string five-stage preheater with a clinker capacity of 2500/3000tpd clinker, equipped with low pressure loss cyclones and RSP calciner at its Beli Izvor cement plant in  Bulgaria.
 
With the prerequisite from Holcim for this to be a ‘fast track project’ the engineering will take into consideration the execution of the new preheater
with existing preheater/kiln in operation.
 
State-of-the art technology from Taiheiyo Eng Co will be used, with whom Ceprocim has an agreement of cooperation.

The contract was awarded to Ceprocim following Holcim’s successful previous experience with the Romanian engineering specialists.  Ceprocim provided the entire engineering scope for Holcim’s state-of-the art modernisation project at  its Alesd cement plant in Romania
