Siam Cement PCL said Wednesday its net profit in the first quarter dropped slightly on year, as lower taxes were offset by weak operating results. In the January-March quarter, the company recorded a net profit of THB9.55 billion, or THB7.95 a share, compared with THB10.00 billion, or THB8.33 a share.
