Sverdlovsk region to build cement plants

Governor of Sverdlovsk region, Russia, Eduard Rossel held a session where an issue was considered of building cement plants in the region. The region’s construction and municipal service minister Alexander Karlov informed by 2010 the region’s demand in cement would reach 8Mt and presently only 3.4Mt of cement annually is manufactured. To solve this problem a number of new cement plants will be required and a number of local companies, including Atomstroikomplekt, Sukholozhsktsement, Nevyanskiy Tsementnik, UGMK, corporation Finpromko, Russian Railways’ construction trust N 10.
