In May 2005, the group said that it planned to build a cement plant worth between US$100m and US$150m in Russia’s Leningrad Region jointly with one of the world’s largest concrete producers. LSR Group said then that it was in talks with Italian, French and German companies.
 
LSR Group currently has a 50% share of the construction market in Russia’s Northwest Federal District. The group comprises more than 30 enterprises.
