Lafarge to participate in Mexican grey-cement market
Lafarge is to participate in the Mexican grey-cement market from late April. The company is to start operations in its Hidalgo plant, which demanded an investment of US$121m. The plant will produce 600,000t of cement a year, in a first stage. Lafarge Cementos Mexico CEO, Carlos Castillo, explained that the consortium’s strategy is to remain as an international construction leader in each of its divisions.
