State-run cement maker PT Semen Gresik  posted a net profit of Rp936.314bn (US$100.8m) last year, up by 83.37 per cent from a year earlier. 
 
Sales rose 44.37 per cent to Rp8.759 trillion in 2005 from Rp6.067 trillion in 2004, the company’s corporate secretary Anas Rosjidi said on Monday. 
 
In the fourth quarter of 2005, sales reached Rp2.289 trillion, while net profits stood at Rp229.942bn.
