Valderrivas cement now controls Lemona
Cementos Portland Valderrivas said on Wednesday it now controlled 96 per cent of the share capital of rival cement manufacturer Cementos Lemona after a public takeover offer. Valderrivas, which is a unit of construction group Fomento de Construccciones y Contratas, said it received acceptances from shareholders representing 65.3 per cent of Lemona’s share capital. Valderrivas already owned 30.7 per cent of Lemona. Published under Cement News
