Cement production up by 34 per cent, Ukraine

In November, cement production rose by 34% compared with November 2004, to 941,000t, the State Statistics Committee disclosed. In November, cement production fell by 23.4% to 941,000t compared with October. In January-November, cement production rose by 12.6% compared with the same period of 2004, to 11,451,000t.  
 
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in October, cement production rose by 17.3% compared with October 2004, to 1,229,000t, the State Statistics Committee has disclosed. In 2004, cement production rose by 19.3% or 1,719,000t compared with 2003, to 10,635,000t.
