A $135m cement plant with joint Saudi and Tunisian investments will be established in Tunisia, unnamed Saudi investors said. The cement plant will be located in al-Akareet region in southern Tunisia. The plant will have an annual output of 1.5Mt. A land plot of some 40 ha has already been allocated and construction works are due to start soon.
