Taiwan’s Asia Cement reports 18.50 mln twd damage from Typhoon Longwang

Asia Cement Corp said its Hualien plant in  eastern Taiwan suffered an estimated TWD18.50m in damages caused by  Typhoon Longwang, which swept across the island yesterday.  
 
Meanwhile, an electrical power failure at the plant due to the typhoon is  estimated to have resulted in a decline in clinker output by 26,000t, it said in a filing to the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
