UAE Dubai’s state-owned company Dubai Holding and Egypt’s Orascom Construction Industries have announced the establishment of a joint project, the Emirates Cement Company.  

The newly-established cement company has already started cooperation with Fujairah’s Government, in order to open a cement factory in the emirate with an annual capacity of three million tonnes.  

Emirates Cement Company is the first project of Dubai Holding in Fujairah.
