Can Tho invests in cement production, Vietnam

The southern city of Can Tho recently spent VND13bn (US$823,800) to install a cement-mixing system with a capacity of 600-700m3 per month, bringing the local area’s total capacity up to 10,000m3 per year.

To further supplement its capacity to supply concrete, the city also invested VND31.3bn (US$1.96m) in a cement grinding line, with a capacity of 16tph.

This year the city has set a cement production target of 1Mt, a 41.3 per cent increase over last year.
